Can you smell that?
That is the smell of the preseason finally coming to an end tonight, as the New England Patriots face off with the New York Giants in the final preseason tilt of the year. Then, we can turn our full attention to the regular season, and the Pats first opponent, the Miami Dolphins.
But we have to get tonight’s game over with, so here is some information on how to watch:
Date: Thursday, August 28th
Kickoff Time: 7:30 PM ET
TV Channel: WBZ-TV (Ch.4), WWLP-TV (Ch. 22), WPRI-TV (Ch. 12), WMUR-TV (Ch. 9), WTNH-TV (Ch. 8), WMTW-TV (Ch. 8), WVII-TV (Ch. 7), WCAX-TV (Ch. 3), KFVE-TV (Ch. 5)
Radio: 98.5 FM
Live Stream: NFL.com (Preseason live subscription required)
The biggest storyline to watch tonight revolves around rookie quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, who will be getting the start. In fact, reports say Garoppolo may play the entire game, which could mean Ryan Mallett is on the trading block. If Garoppolo plays well, he could potentially seal up the backup job, and send Mallett packing.
But that is just speculation. At the very least, we will get to see our new rookie quarterback in action for nearly an entire game, which is always fun for everybody.
Get ready, guys. Regular season football is nearly upon us.
